Cruisers Head to Biloxi VA Today

by Keith Burton - GCN 10/7/08

Participants in this year's Cruisin' the Coast will be returning to one of their favorite venues today, that being the Biloxi VA off of Pass Road west of Keesler A.F.B.

Each year, the event makes a run and joins the stately live oaks and residents of the VA. It is one of the most popular visits that the cruisers make and the residents at the VA love the event. Cruisers will be at the VA from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The VA event includes live music for entertainment and turns the parking lots and roads around the VA hospital into a showcase of custom cars and trucks. Cruisers share car stories and their adventures in restoring and customizing their cars, which are treated with the care that you see with young children. (GCN photo left: 2007 Cruisin' at the VA)

Cruisers will also be in Pass Christian later in the day for some lively entertainment at a concert and party scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
