BILOXI, Miss. – The body of a fisherman missing since Sunday, Nov. 9, has been found.

A shrimper found the body of Rodney Brewer, of Louisiana and Long Beach, early the morning of Thursday, Nov. 13, between West Ship and Cat islands. The U.S. Coast Guard was called and responded to recover the body.

The Department of Marine Resources and U.S. Coast Guard have been searching for Brewer since Sunday, when he and a fellow fisherman were overturned in a 12-foot skiff just off Cat Island. His fishing partner was rescued by a passing boater at 3 p.m., about two hours after the boat overturned.
