Police Department Receives 2 Jet Skis, 2 Utility Vehicles From Coast
Cycle World As part of a Law Enforcement Loan Program, sponsored by Yamaha, Coast Cycle World in Gulfport has loaned D’Iberville’s burgeoning police department equipment to aid in summer time law enforcement, including two jet skis and two utility vehicles. The jet skis will be used in area water ways and the utility vehicles can be used during special events. The equipment will be replaced in six months with other needed equipment as the season and needs of law enforcement changes.

Coast Cycle World
has been participating in the Law Enforcement Loan Program for at least 13
years, according to Bryan Guillotte. The program benefits the store by
allowing them to buy units for a discount. They also get to have
advertising for what they sell as law enforcement personnel are seen using
the vehicles. After six months, they can sell the units. In turn the
agency borrowing the units must insure the vehicles and maintain them.
