Thousands of people lined Jeff Davis Avenue in Long Beach Monday for the Annual Cruisin' the Coast parade.

Cruisers also lined the front beach parking lots to enjoy the parade as well.

Kids, moms and dads really seemed to get a lot out of the event. As the classic cars drove by, they would shout "What Year!" as many of the cars were unfamiliar or so greatly modified, that it was hard to know. People also liked figuring out what make and model of the cars. The parade in only the beginning of the events for Cruisin' the Coast. Cities from Ocean Springs to Bay St. Louis have events scheduled for the ten day event.

Many of the parade participants tossed out beads like in a Mardi Gras parade. Here are a few photos of the event and the entertainment at the Long Beach Yacht Club held for the Cruisers..
