Coast Transit Authority Opens New Biloxi Terminal
Biloxi now has a new bus and transportation terminal to be proud of with the opening of the new Coast Transit Authority depot in downtown Biloxi.
Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held, Feb. 13, in the new building, which replaced the former Gollott Moving and Storage building on the site. Work on the new building has been underway for months, delayed somewhat by Katrina.
The terminal is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (former Washington Loop) just north of the Biloxi Saenger Theater. The terminal will also serve as the city's primary stop for Greyhound buses. Greyhound is a tenant in the new terminal with daily service across the U.S.
The new Intermodal Terminal is owned by CTA, paid for with federal and local funds – Greyhound is not a partner in the facility.
