Biloxi Police Ask Residents to Report Suspicious Activity
Biloxi Police Chief Bruce Dunagan is asking residents to report any suspicious activity witnessed in their neighborhoods, in the wake of police investigating individuals canvassing neighborhoods as door-to-door salesmen.
Dunagan said police this afternoon questioned two individuals in a north Biloxi neighborhood after residents reported suspicious activity.
“Upon investigation, our officers found that one of these individuals had been charged with burglary in the past and another had been charged with grand larceny,” Dunagan said. “The bottom line is that we’re asking the public to be pro-active. When they see suspicious individuals going door to door, call us and let us check it out. We’ll verify if they have the proper licenses to be doing this type of business in our city.”
The police department can be reached at 435-6103.
