2004 Smokin' the Sound to be Broadcast this Weekend, 2005 Event Next Month

The Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association (OSS) says the inaugural race for 2004 Smokin' the Sound  will be broadcast on both national and cable television this weekend and next. The airing of this television show comes just prior to the 2005 race, which will be held in
Biloxi April 22-24. Smokin' the Sound was nominated as the 2004 Mississippi Tourism Association Event of the Year.

 

The race will be on ABC station WLOX channel 13 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Sunday afternoon March 20th at 12 p.m.  You will also get a chance to see the race along with 20 million other viewers on the Turner Dish network Saturday night March 26th at 9:30 PM Central Standard Time.

 

For the 2005 OSS Tour, Smokin' the Sound in Biloxi, Mississippi will once again be the opening season race. April 22-24, 2005 the OSS boats will provide racing along the shoreline in Biloxi. The powerboat association says the site is a favorite for many OSS fans, members and racers who are looking forward to get their engines started again.
