Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art to Hold Rebuilding Ceremony Saturday
Public is Invited - New YouTube Video Released

Congressman Gene Taylor, so instrumental in the rebuilding process on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, will be among the distinguished guests of honor at the rebuilding ceremony for the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, Saturday, December 1, at 10 am at the construction site on U.S. 90 in Biloxi.

Additionally, major speakers include: Harold Closter, Director of Smithsonian Affiliates; Mayor A.J. Holloway of Biloxi; and Ricky Mathews, Publisher, The Sun Herald, plus Larry Clark, President, Board of Trustees, and Judy Steckler, Chairman of the event, called The Dance Begins. The public is invited, free of charge.

Parking is at the Biloxi Yacht Club, Lady Luck, and the Tivoli.  The entrance is at the north of the site.

A new video for YouTube about the museum's progress is available for viewing online. The video was produced by Anne Kotleba, an original Katrina volunteer, who stayed with at the staff at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art. The video was produced to honor of the Dec. 1 Rebuilding Ceremony, titled, The Dance Begins.

The museum, which was under construction at the time of Katrina, was heavily damaged by the hurricane.
