Lots of Work Underway on U.S. 90 Related Projects in Biloxi

Biloxi city contractors continue working on repairing storm-damaged street lighting on U.S. 90 between Rodenberg Avenue and Beauvoir Road. Lights are scheduled to be re-energized within 30 days.

Elsewhere on U.S. 90, MDOT crews have apparently begun rights-of-way work between Main Street and Casino Row, requiring intermittent lane closures on the north side of the state highway. To read about other road repair work underway in Biloxi, click here.

Lighthouse work: City Historic Administrator Bill Raymond says the City Council will be asked on Nov. 6 to approve a project to refurbish the storm-damaged Biloxi Lighthouse. The lighthouse work is to completely restore the historic structure including repainting, repairing electrical fixtures and fencing.
