Evacuees Directed to Return

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Evacuated personnel and family
members who are currently located in a SAFE HAVEN due to Hurricane Gustav
are directed to return to Keesler. Travel should begin not earlier than
6:30 am Tuesday, September 2, to be complete not later than September 5.
Immediately upon return, personnel shall report their individual and
families return through their unit control centers (UCC).
Personnel
shall report to duty the first duty day following their return unless
otherwise directed by their UCC.
Per diem
for return travel is authorized, not to exceed allowable travel time in
accordance with the Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR) of 1 day of
travel time is allowed for each 350 miles of official distance of ordered
travel. When the total official distance is 400 miles or less, 1 day's
travel time is allowed.
The Wing
Commander has authorized shelter commanders to release personnel from
shelters effective at 7:30 hours, Tuesday September 2. Sheltered personnel
shall contact their UCC to determine when they need to report for duty.
