Council images: The Biloxi City Council met Tuesday afternoon to discuss a number of agenda issues. During the meeting, Mayor Andrew "FoFo" Gilich proclaimed February as American Heart Month, and a facade grant was approved for the headquarters being constructed for Machado-Patano Engineering. Outstanding citizen: Errol Bradley was inducted as the 2017 Biloxi Outstanding Citizen of the Year on Wednesday afternoon during a Biloxi Lions Club luncheon. The sold-out event featured a presentation to Bradley by Mayor Andrew "FoFo" Gilich. To see images from the luncheon, click here.

Diplomat visit: Mayor Andrew "FoFo" Gilich presented Miguel Fraga, the first secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Washington, D.C., a proclamation this morning at City Hall. Fraga is in Biloxi to discuss hopes for future trade and to continue discussions of the Cuban baseball team, the Industriales, to play an exhibition baseball game at MGM Park.
