Crawfish Festival Headlines Weekend Biloxi Events

The Crawfish Music Festival, held on the coast for more than two decades, continues throughout the weekend with live musical performances, carnival rides and, of course, crawfish.

The event, which officially began on Thursday with the Miss Crawfish Music Festival pageant, is held over two weekends and includes live entertainment each night and a crawfish cook off, with tastings by event goers, this Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Admission is $17 per adult, $6 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and younger.  The Crawfish Music Festival is open this weekend from 5 to 11 p.m. tonight, 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Elsewhere this weekend:  The Great American Clean Up wraps up on Saturday with an organized clean-up from the Point Cadet Plaza from 8 a.m. to noon, the Clare Sekul Hornsby Biloxi Lions Club Park ribbon cutting is at 11:30 a.m. off Benachi Avenue, over at MGM Park, the Shuckers play the Jackson Generals on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. and on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. and at the casinos, Alice Cooper performs at the Beau Rivage, Brandon Bennett at the Hard Rock and Air Supply at the IP Casino Resort.
