Biloxi City Council to Consider Property Issues, Equipment Purchases

From: City of Biloxi   Vincent Creel   5/5/08  GCN

The Biloxi City Council will consider a request for a 60-unit addition to Keesler Villa Apartments off Popp’s Ferry Road in north Biloxi when it meets Tuesday afternoon at City Hall.

Mayor A.J. Holloway will also ask councilmembers to approve a $196,000 yearlong contract with a firm to maintain landscaping along Back Bay Boulevard and the Biloxi City Cemetery.

Among the other issues on the council’s 1:30 agenda: purchase of property for the Brodie Road improvement project, purchase of seven heavy-duty pickup trucks for the Public Works Department and purchase of a video messaging board for the Biloxi Police Department.
