by Keith Burton - GCN 5/15/08
Gulfport Police spent much of Thursday afternoon investigating a severe
multi-car accident that occurred on Pass Road early in the afternoon.
Emergency officials arriving at the accident had to cut a passenger out of
a crushed Corvette and attend to victims in the three-car wreck that
delayed traffic for several hours on Pass Road.

The accident happened near Loposser Avenue, near Allen Hyundai. Witnesses
to the accident said the Corvette was eastbound on Pass Road when it made
a U-turn and was hit by a westbound Honda Accord, which was then hit by a
Mercury Sable.
