Jackson County
Libraries Providing Free Public Wi-Fi Service
GCN 3/27/08
The East Central, Gautier, Lucedale, Moss Point, Ocean Springs and
Pascagoula libraries are now equipped to provide free public wireless
Internet access via a new Wi-Fi network.
The wireless network is available during regular library hours and does
not require a library card. An informational flier is also available at
the circulation desk. Plans are for all libraries in the Jackson/George
Regional Library System to have wireless access by October. Wi-Fi service
in Vancleave Public Library and St. Martin Public Library are not
operational, but will be by the end of the year.
Also, all branch libraries will recognize National Library Week, April
14-19, with a series of programs.
