Jehovah Witness Conference Coming in Jackson

Thousands of individuals will be traveling to Jackson, Mississippi, from three states, including some from the Coast area.  They will be attending a convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Mississippi Coliseum.  The projected attendance is 6,900.


The convention dates are June 22-24, 2018.  The program will begin Friday and Saturday at 9:20 a.m. and conclude at 4:50 p.m. The Sunday program will begin at 9:20 a.m. and conclude at 3:50 p.m.  Each day, the doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for persons 65 years of age and older and for those with disabilities.  General admission starts at 8:15 a.m.  Admission is free, with no collections taken. 
 
THE THREE-DAY PROGRAM WILL INCLUDE:

A Heartwarming Public Discourse entitled: “The Resurrection Hope Imparts Courage—How?”  It will be delivered on Sunday morning at 11:20 a.m.
 
A Feature Film entitled: “The Story of Jonah—A Lesson in Courage and Mercy.”  This part will be presented on Sunday afternoon at 1:50 p.m.
 
Christian Baptism: A Scriptural talk will be given entitled: “We Are Not the Sort Who Shrink Back”!  The talk is to be delivered on Saturday morning at 11:45 a.m., followed by water baptism.
