MGM Mississippi Celebrates Exceptional Guest Satisfaction Scores

From: News Release    1/18/13  GCN

BILOXI, Miss. – January 18, 2013 - MGM Mississippi employees have much to celebrate as Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and Gold Strike Casino Resort recently scored their highest customer satisfaction scores to date.

Guests who overnight at the property are asked to complete an internet survey to describe their experience. One guest satisfaction measurement tracked throughout MGM Resort International’s properties is the Net Promoter Score (NPS). The Net Promoter Scoring System is a metric that holds companies and employees accountable for how they treat guests.

As part of the survey, guests are asked “How likely would you be to recommend the resort to a friend, colleague or family member?” and monthly scores are derived from responses. An independent contractor calculates Net Promoter Scores by using a national, standardized formula to help MGM get a clear measure of the Company's performance through customers' eyes.

Beau Rivage and Gold Strike scored the highest of MGM’s 16 resorts. In December 2012, Beau Rivage received a 77.7 percent, the highest score ever for Beau Rivage and the highest score in MGM Resorts International since tracking began by Market Metrix internet survey company nationally-recognized for using an industry standard. Gold Strike earned a commendable 72.2% for the month, its highest Net Promoter Score in seven months. Employee celebrations were held at both resorts and included elaborate specialty menus, games and prizes.
